Gary Leon Ridgeway

Ridgeway is a serial killer that truly believer that every victim deserved what they got.  He managed to avoid detectives for over 21 years on his illusive journey; where he murdered a known 48 women.  He described his killings as a "career".

At an early age he dealt with many family problems including violent arguments among his parents and was harassed by parents and peers.  He wet the bed beyond normal years, his mother off ton finding him. She would clean him but ridicule him and announce it to the rest of the family.  As he crew up he joined the military and tried to a job in the police force.  He started young with getting involved with prostitutes.  This is wear his hate for women and prostitutes began.  As ridgeway grew older he did mary and have a child; this did not last for vary long. After his divorcee his hatred for women grew.

In two and a half years he murdered as many as 50+, so many he forgot how many.  Most of his murders were prostitutes and women. They were said to be the easiest to pick up and most would not even know there gone.  He would be on the loose for 20 years before convicted for 4 murders.  Ridgeway was so illusive that a special task force composed of FBI agents in order to finally bring him down. He was sentenced to the death penalty but set up a plea deal if he confessed all of the people he murdered and location.

Ridgeway was a very prolific serial killer.  He would allude easy victims into his vehicle, rape and murder them then dispose of them.  However he was intelligent in the manner he did this.  he even went as far as leaving bodies but first disposing there teeth and finger nails.  He would surround the bodies with fake evidence to lead detectives down different paths.

Ted Bundy

Did natural consistency of the human mind play more of a role then nurturing. Ted Bundy was a compelling serial killer who went beyond what most people deem imaginable.  He was lied to at early age about who is mother and real parents were.  However as he grew older he would show no characteristics of a serial killer let alone a deranged man would receive the nickname "The Devil".

Ted Bundy grew up thinking is true mother was his sister and his grandparents were his real parents.  Later to find out this was not true.  However this did not strike his killings. Bundy may have committed his first murder in his teens when a twelve year old girl went missing on his street.  Bundy was never proven guilty nor tried for the case.  Despite the possibility of that Bundy went on to start becoming successful, he attended college and became active in politics and other public services.  Bundy would slowly make a turn towards being the devil.  He started by sexually assaulting a female and the sexually assaulting another one and eventually killing her.  Bundy a intelligent and illusive man started acting injured in order for females to help him so he could lure them into situations for him to be able to abduct them.  He did not just murder in one state he would move from state to state killing.  At one point after Murdering two females in which he hid there remains atop a hill in the forest, bundy would visit there bodies to sleep next to and have sex with.  Right before bundy was executed via the electric chair he confessed to at least 30 murders but said he said to add "one more digit, and you'll have it".

Bundy was a smart handsome man who was never said to be made fun of or picked on through out his life.  Although is life wasn't perfect from the start he was raised well and became educated.  Bundy snapped with know forewarning.  He also did not murder for hate and there was no prior knowledge of mental illness.  Although we will never know why he did the things he did; I believe it was nature and inside of him from the day he was born.

Richard Chase

Is Richard Chace living proof that you can be born with mental characteristics that incresae the odds of you becoming a serial killer.  At an early age Richard Chase had three distinct characters that tend to lead to serial killing.  He loved to set fires, torture and kill animals and was a bed wetter beyond a normal age. As chase grew older his problems did not get any better; he started using drugs and behavior grew out of control. He started to become paranoid and suffer from schizophrenia where then his life would drastically spin out of control.
Chase.jpeg  Chase is one of the most interesting serial killers I have read about. He seeked help a few times and was released, at one point he even was living by himself.  Chase first started by killing animals to obtain there organs and blood by ingesting it.  He thought that is blood was going to turn into powder that will poison him.  His theory was that if there was scum under your soap dish then you were under attack by the nazi-germans. Chase would walk down streets and try and enter homes through the front doors, he believed if it was locked then he was not welcome.  He did this repeatedly until he found an open door.  He committed his first murder when he killed a 51 yr. old man, this murder only lead to more murders.  The last murder he committed was the most gruesome in the six people he killed.

Chase was a serial killer that was truly mentally ill.  He was said to have an IQ of 80 and was diagnosed with schizophrenia.  He was insane starting from birth.  I don't understand why he was not put into a psychiatric warden where he would be observed closer.  I don't believe these murders should of happened i was not right from an early age.

John Wayne Gracy

John Wayne Gacy was born on ST. Patricks day in 1942.  Gacy grew up in a middle class neighborhood participating in Cubscouts and organized groups.  Starting at an early age Gacy held a job to earn some personal money.  Gacy had two other siblings one sister older and one sister younger whom in which he was very close to both.  The one person of his family who John Wayne Gacy Jr. was not very close to but had always wished he was was his father John wayne Gacy Sr.  Gacy sr. was an alcoholic who abused his wife and verbally assaulted his children. As a young boy Gacy Jr had a number of medical problems causing him to have to be in and out of the hospital later giving him something to blame his troubles on.  Gacy went from being heavily involved in his community and viewed as a generous man, to one of the most gruesome serial killers.

The first accusation of Gacys sexual preference game by rumors from co-works and other members of his club Jaycees.  Very few people thought much of the rumors and in-fact many even denied them all completely.  However these accusations soon became confirmed in a manor higher then anyone could of even imagined.   Gacy was first convicted of sodomy with a teenage boy who he worked with, Gacy received the max sentence for this crime of ten years.  Gacy tried to revert back to a better life by returning home but this only lead to more and more problems.  Gacy Started to lure young men between 17 to 20 into his vehicle where he would use chloroform to make them unconscious.  He would return to his home where he would violently rape them, murder them and then dispose of the body via burying or dropping them into a river near by.  Gacy committed 33 murders before he was finally arrested.

I believe in this case John Wayne Gacy, what made him commit heinous crime was his childhood past.  The fact he had loved his father so much and wanted his father to love him back but never did. Gacy would always look back and question why his father didn't love him back.  Nurture is one of the most predictable ways to determine how a person will turn out.  I believe if his father had showed him love back he would not be the way he was.  Gacy probably had the urges to rape young males to help cope with his issues and a young boy himself.
